Copyright Infringement or "The Happiest Place on Earth" can get pretty cranky if you copy their work!Read Now
Sometimes you may see a photo of cookies I have made that are of popular characters like monsters, mice or despicable little things. I don't post pics like these often, mainly because I do not do them often. If I have done them, you can assume that I did them for friends or family as a gift. Gift as in, given for no compensation.
It can be a sore subject among home bakers. Recently, another baking friend of mine requested permission from the Disney company to make a certain Disney character cake for her client and she received a very nice letter that said no, in no uncertain terms, A BIG FAT NO!
You see, bakers are just like any other business and we are not allowed to make money off of copyrighted items.
Some bakers have received, cease and desist letters from these big companies and fines and legal fees can be steep. So, that said, sadly, no I can not make them for you, my wonderful clients.
The good news is that I can get pretty creative in making cookies (I am the Creative Cookier, after all), that will compliment your favorite character theme, not infringe on copyrights and make everyone happy!

So, here's the deal...I am not much of a blogger. I have tried in the past and failed miserably.
